InftyEditor is an authoring tool of mathematical documents, very easy and smooth to input mathematical expressions.
- You can input any math expressions keeping your hand on the HOME Position of your keyboard.
- The input math expressions are displayed immediately in the form of printing style as you usually see in books.
- InftyEditor has a strong Online Help of command names or syntax to input math expressions based on LaTeX. Thus, InftyEditor can be used also as a Learning Tool of LaTeX, for the beginners of LaTeX.
- The documents written in InftyEditor can be saved in different formats: XML of InftyEditor, LaTeX, MathML, Human Readable TeX for the blinds, PDF, etc.
- If InftyReader is installed in your PC, you can input texts and math expressions from printed document via scanner into InftyEditor directly.

2. InftyReader Ver.2.4.4e(20/9/2006), InftyReader Ver.2.5.0 beta(10) (28/02/2007).
This is the product version of InftyReader with some extended functionality .
InftyReader recognizes scanned images of printed scientific documents including Math formulae, an outputs the recognition results in various formats: XML format for InftyEditor, LaTeX, MathML, Human-Readable TeX for the blinds, etc. There is a free version of InftyReader(Ver.2.4.4) released on the InftyProject web site.
The main features of InftyReader Ver. 2.5.0 or newer different from the freeware version of InftyReader(Ver.2.4.4) are the following points:
1. It uses the OCR engine of Toshiba Corporation, "ExpressReaderPro", to recognize characters in ordinary text areas. (As for the characters
and math symbols in formulae, it uses Infty's OCR).
2. It can recognize tables including math expressions in the cells.
3. It can convert PDF files into LaTeX or XHTML(MathML) including
mathematical expressions. It recognize the page images of PDF files
referring the text information imbedded in PDF.
By this new functionality, user can combine InftyReader to any
other commercial OCR which can output the recognition results in PDF,
e.g. FineReader, OmniPage, etc.
4. It is usable in commercial/business purpose, while the usage of the free
version InftyReader is limited to non-commercial and non-business purpose.

3. ChattyInfty Ver.1.09 beta (21/09/2006).
ChattyInfty is an extended version of InftyEditor with a plug-in speech interface to output in voice the content of editing data by InftyEditor including math expressions, accordingly to the cursor movement.
Please note that, to use ChattyInfty, the Microsoft speech API, the version 4 (SAPI 4) should be installed in your PC in advance.
